Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Clawdius ("the Service"), operated by BuildABot, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Clawdius is a platform for creating and managing AI-powered bots that can interact with messaging platforms (Telegram, Slack), productivity tools (Google Workspace, Notion, Microsoft 365), and cryptocurrency wallets. Each workspace provides a dedicated compute environment for your bots.

3. Accounts

You must sign in with a Google account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under it. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Subscriptions and Payment

Access to workspace features requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

The Service also offers a credit system for AI usage. Subscription credits reset each billing cycle. Purchased credits do not expire. Usage beyond available credits may result in reduced service until credits are replenished.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Send spam, phishing, or unsolicited messages through your bots
• Harass, abuse, or harm other individuals
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ data or workspaces
• Use bots to manipulate financial markets or engage in fraudulent trading
• Circumvent security controls, rate limits, or spending controls
• Distribute malware or engage in any activity that could harm the Service’s infrastructure

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Third-Party Integrations

The Service allows you to connect third-party accounts (Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, Microsoft 365, cryptocurrency wallets). By connecting these services, you authorize your bots to act on your behalf within the permissions you grant. You are responsible for the actions your bots take through these integrations.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or reliability of third-party services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

7. Cryptocurrency and Financial Services

The Service provides access to cryptocurrency wallets and trading features through third-party custodians. You acknowledge that:

• Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible once confirmed on-chain
• Digital asset values are volatile and you may lose some or all of your investment
• You are solely responsible for configuring spending controls and risk parameters
• We do not provide financial advice or recommendations
• We do not custody or control private keys — wallet security is managed by third-party providers

8. AI-Generated Content

Bots on the platform use AI models to generate responses and take actions. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any actions taken by your bots, especially financial transactions, email communications, and calendar events.

9. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you provide to the Service, including bot configurations and custom instructions. We retain ownership of the Service, its design, and underlying technology. Bot configurations and custom instructions you create are yours to export or delete at any time.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or digital assets, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Account settings. Upon deletion, we will remove your user data, bot configurations, and stored credentials. Any remaining wallet assets will be swept to your configured recovery address. We may also terminate accounts that violate these Terms with or without notice.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
